Not mentioning your OS is part of the problem here. Dell Inspiron B, wireless It still didn’t load after I made the changes suggested by Hadaka, but the wireless did work.. Cannot connect to Internet via wi-fi or ethernet cable. I do have 2 other Ubuntu computers as well. If the problem is something else, please explain the problem in detail. After installing ALL the updates, I finally got my ethernet. Join Date Apr Beans 6.
Only thing I still don’t see the icon for the wireless, so i may try b103 method anyway to see if it shows up after that.

Re-install SP3 uninstall the WiFi drivers but don’t delete them.
